What to Expect

Before your massage

Your first massage will include a consultation with Aase regarding any relevant health and lifestyle information so that you receive a tailor made treatment.

If you are unsure whether you can have a massage please check with your doctor before any treatment.

It is advisable to avoid a heavy meal within an hour prior to your massage.

During your massage

Most treatments are carried out directly on the skin using different oils, waxes and creams.

You will be draped in towels, except for the area being massaged.

You will be kept warm and comfortable at all times and soft music may be played to create the right atmosphere.

Aase will make sure that you are completely relaxed so that you receive the most effective massage.

After your massage

Depending on the treatment you've had and how your body responded to it, you might feel sleepy, lightheaded or energised, yet relaxed.

A 5-10 minutes rest on the couch afterwards will slowly bring you around.

After deep muscle treatment you might feel slightly sore for about a day but this should soon disappear making you feel better than before the treatment.

It's advisable to drink plenty of water as an increased lymph flow will flush out any released toxins.

Payment

Aase accepts payment by cash or online bank transfer. Please check the treatments page for massage prices.
